Everything seemed simple, relationships were whimsical. It all changed now XD Sometimes I wish I could people having crushes like they did in elementary school. Oh well.
I'm 18 and never had a girlfriend, or a lot of friends, a small number of true friends, other problems, so my childhood wasn't that great. Hopefully things get better as a young adult.

Yes, my earliest memories are from before my first birthday. Which is quite a feat considering my age. Most storage devices can't playback after many years.

Idyllic memories of the 1950's, when we could run and play with other kids in the neighborhood without fear, even after dark. Overall, however, the memories were less idyllic, as I was raised by a mentally ill mother and by a harsh and demanding father for whom nothing I ever did was good enough. That was enough to foster in me the desire not to ever have children, and indeed I followed through and never did have them. That was a good decision, as I would have been a horrible parent.

I had a great childhood with lots of friends, but I wouldn't want to go back and experience that ridiculous educational system again. Such a waste.

I remember so much about my childhood that's it's still creepy at age 62. Hell, I remember more things about my friends' childhoods than THEY do, and that creeps them out.

I actually had a pretty unhappy childhood, but I wasn't unhappy ALL of the time. I knew how to seek and find enjoyment, and I liked where I lived. I think back to my childhood a lot, sometimes down the Good Memory Lane, sometimes down the Bad Memory Lane. Lots of things I do miss.

Yeah, it mostly sucked. I'm 18 and never had a girlfriend or a lot of friends. Really very few good friends. I almost want to say f my childhood but for some reason I don't.

I have some ugly memories and few happy memories, probably in a dimmer view of childhood than the typical adult has. The family atmosphere generally was cold, my parents didn't socialize much with others and I've never been social, resulting in some years where I was almost non-verbal outside the home. Edit: also, I think I heard memory is linked to smell, and my sense of smell probably was poor for much of my youth due to nasal obstruction.
