Both groups had most of the same members and moderators.
I dont get verbally abusive with people.
I got negative and frusterated
It could be that the people struggled with the negativity. It doesn't mean it was ok banning you - especially if you weren't somehow warned that your negativity influences others well negatively.
Don't take it to heart, if a support group can't handle some negativity, I'd guess I'd be kind of relieved not to be around. Do you have a psychotherapist to talk about these stuff?
annonymous0381 Sign up with "wrongplanet.net" there is no looking down on anyone , their motto is "if you have met one person on the spectrum you have met one person on the spectrum." They realize everyone is different , and will talk with you.
They are not judgemental as it sounds like the two that gave you the boot are , those whose are insecure and trying to look superior . What a shame , hopefully they will be taught , "NOBODY EVER LOOKS GOOD TRYING TO MAKE OTHERS LOOK BAD"
As to your final point, Asperger's isn't an official diagnosis anymore, it's considered high-functioning autism. High-functioning means that those people can work and be in relationships. It's not up to you to question their diagnoses.
Oh yes it is. Lumping Aspies in with other people who have autism was stupid. It was done just because Asperger is said to have been a Nazi. Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. What should have been done was for "them" to have changed the name "Asperger's" for the condition to something that might have offended some people somewhat less.
I have never been kicked out of any social-media autism groups but I have left every single one I've joined, because the majority of the autistic members did not have Asperger's (or "high-functioning autism"). There was nothing supportive or helpful in any of those groups for me. Their problems were not my problems. And I would imagine that having their groups invaded by Aspies would changed those groups so that the non-Aspie autistic people would have lost out on help and support as well.
What kinds of topics did you talk about? (If you don't mind telling us)
