Traffic- when people here say the traffic is bad- I laugh. When I can go 75mph on 75 at 5pm, I ask where is the traffic. In Baltimore you cannot go 60 on 695/95 at anytime except maybe 3a.
Just be prepared for a much slower life here (except on 75 LOL). Remember that most people here are retired and have all day to go to the grocery store or Walmart.
I am very happy that my husband and I made this move- if I could only get my son to move here, then it would be fantastic!!
WELL SAID, Jetlady! We've been down here since last November, and ALSO love it......soooo tranquil and peaceful! We never want to go back up north to that "Ratrace" again!

Jet,

We are from Baltimore also ! Just bought in North Port in March...I've been "updating" the home since then and will be fully moved in June 6th. Ah...the Inner harbor...Annapolis.....Fort McHenry...the crabs !

Nice to see some more locals !
