Congrats!! This forum and its posters once again proved to be AWESOME!! I know the snow bird thing will switch to a full time thing, with summer rather than winter vacation trips. With a place as great as this is, we found we loved it so much, why keep the other house, when we can visit and vacation up there as much as we want.

Thanks guys. When it comes to pools I found it ironic that some of the snowbird and full time neighbors don't go in the pools most of the time in the winter months because of the costs associated with heating it. So they have the filter running 6-8 hours a day on a unused pool. But than again there is one neighbor(forum member) who has the pool heated to 85-87 and his backyard is truly a florida paradise with his own beach and all!!!!!

These must either be New Pool Owners or..the cost just isnt a factor.. because truth be known when the water temp is ambient (60-70) and no one is using it, you can drastically reduce the number of hours you filter it.

I was in said neighbors pool yesterday and it was great. It's good to have friends like him.

Thanks, I was on 95 north with all the other nut jobs. Hopefully said neighbor will extend the invite to his new neighbor who will show up with a case of corona and a few Churchill cigars.
