When do the majority of the snowbirds head back North?

Usually right after Easter, but I have seen signs of preparation for the migration already, such as boats loaded up on their trailers and hooked to the big RVs.

March and April are the months they start to go back home. By May most are gone. Some snow birds are only here 3 months, where others are more like 6 months.

But I have talked to a lot who are seriously looking at coming back down permanently. They are tired of excessive government in the Northeast, tired of cold, tired of the cost of living.

Sounds great until they all vote Democrat and try to make FL just like the place that they are trying to escape. Only a matter of time.

Yes, they like the high pay they get but not the costs associated with making high wages! Moving to Florida won't have earning opportunities like the NE does. Cost of living is less and so are wages.

Aren't most snowbirds retired? I would think it's hard to keep a high wage job up north and be gone three to six months.

Very Well Said.. and its not just the NE. From what I have noticed, Very Few People who worked all their lives in Florida, ever retire. If They Do? They sure dont retire on waterfront with toys etc etc etc.
