Cadberry (1999-2010), the most precious bunny in the world, died today after a valiant fight. His fur parents loved him to the very end and did everything they could for him. He was born in Riverside, California and was the only red bunny in the litter. He loved bananas and popsicles. He was told by many that he was the softest bunny in the world and brought joy to everyone he met. He will be missed greatly.

I feel like I can't breathe from the grief. We know we did the right thing but I wanted to be selfish and hold on to him for as long as we could. We came home from lunch and he couldn't walk and was laying down. We knew this time was coming. Everyone could met him told us he was special and that they had never met a rabbit like him, so full of personality. We had him since he was 6 weeks old. He was the first pet that my husband and I got together when we were back in school. I can't bear to go into his room because it hurts so much. I know he is in a better place, but I miss him so much.

Thank you so much. The vet did clay prints of his paws for us. We are trying to carry on and keep convincing ourselves that we did the right thing.

Sorry you lost your friend. It's hard to lose a pet.

Sounds like you have a lot of good memories to look back on.

You did a kind thing for your friend, albeit it is never easy.
In time you will smile about the good times you had together, HUGS.
