I am moving with my wife to the RTP in October or so, and we are, let's say a liberal couple. We would like to know how is the liberal lifestyle in NC (swinger couples). We must say that we are a normal couple!! Is just that we are used to this kind of life in Europe.

I'm not sure your definition and America's definition of "liberal" is the same. Here liberalism is considered a mental disorder so unless you believe in peace, love, and happiness while you cover your face with a mask during a protest, throw stones, resort to violence, and attempt to beat the police with clubs I'd be careful about calling yourself a liberal.
Like others have suggested I'd check craigslist for meet-ups with swingers.
