Great organization. On time, curteous, respectful, efficient, and grateful. When I tried to tip them they said they could not accept it-- but if I happened to be at Burger King the same time they were then buying them lunch would be okay.

TROSA also runs a little grocery store on the corner of Angier and Driver Streets in Durham. Some of the veggies they sell they grow themselves and the prices are really good, like half price.

I used them a few months back and they were excellent! Hopefully I wont have to use a mover company for a long while, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again

We used Trosa for our beast of a move in early June. Hot as hell, I was afraid for their lives, actually. They were so polite and energetic and grateful for the business. We went to McD's and got them all lunch for a mid-day break, and also had a cooler for them. They were very honest and wrote down every time they took a 15 minute smoke break, 30 minutes for lunch, etc.

Just FYI, we were able to tip them--we gave them $150.00 in cash (on a $900 invoice) and they were able to accept it by calling their front office. We got a really nice thank you letter from the organization about 10 days later.

I feel like if you can get your move accomplished by helping out some really hard-working people who are trying to turn their lives around, it is so rewarding.

I got the recommendation for TROSA from this forum.

I used to think Trosa was a sketchy program..... but they have earned my trust and respect over time. I may not agree with their "recovery" methods, but whatever they are doing, its really helping a community that needs the help.
I have bought christmas trees from them and their big "yard sale" (more like a flea market) every few months is also interesting to hit. All kinds of donated items for sale.
