I recommend Dale and Jerry at World Class Auto in Raleigh. In all my 62 years I've never been exposed to a more honest auto repair shop. These guys treat you and your car in a forthright, common sense manner - no unnecessary repairs, inflated bills or nasty surprises.

I'm not easily impressed but these folks have done it on more than one ocassion.

well going to get this repair done next week, I choose WASP AUTO. I been going there now for less then a yr for minor stuff. there price seemed reasonable and they have done good work thus far. My 4 Runner is an SR5 V8 model so they gotta do a lot of digging to get the timing belt

Thanks for coming back DL. We have a V6 Limited, so hopefully our belt will be easy to find. Please let us know how it goes.

thanks, I believe your model is good to go...depending on the yr, the V6 models have a timing chain and it's good for the life of the car, so no timing belt on that model...now on our V8, we have the big ole expensive/labor timing belt
