Where are the nice areas of Wake Forest to live in...any
that would be considered not safe?

Instead of depending upon hearsay, why not give the police department a call and ask them?

Welcome to the Wake Forest, NC Police Department

Wake Forest is generally nice and has a lower crime rate than NC in general.

The police department will be able to give you the most credible information.

Good Point! Afterall, this IS a forum to ask those exact questions!

Wake Forest is a very safe town. There are some older neighborhoods that look a bit "iffy" but the majority of it is fine.

Just by riding through neighborhoods, you can tell those that are kept up and those that are not.

Having a HOA will keep most neighborhoods at their best.

There is an area near the RR tracks that has some subsidized housing. I don't know about crimes but you can check crime sites. I do know that that area hasn't appreciated well, in the past.

Vicki

I don't believe there are any crime web sites for Wake Forest. That's why I suggested calling the people who supply the information to the crime web sites: the police. If anyone can find a crime website for Wake Forest, please share! Thanks.

Wake Forest....generally safe. Less safe during and after a snowfall. Walking and driving become hazardous to ones arms/legs/hips and faces!

In all seriousness Wake Forest is a nice town complete with crime as no town is exempt from crime. If you were robbed recently the crime stinks, if you were not than its pretty good. Its all 'relative' like my Uncle use to say when he wanted a beer!
