we live in ca now and planning to relocate. My husband is a plumber.Does anyone knows how are the plumbing jobs over there?

Good pay? Are there a lot of people in a need of a plumber?

I know you always need a plumber Best thing is to call around the various companies. Have a job lined up prior to moving. While I love NC ( we moved from NJ ) the job market is the same for the most part. So as others will suggest, have a job in place or if you can move and live off savings for a while then go for it. But it is hard to say if you look for work after moving how long it will take to find work. At least with a trade such as that, even with new construction being a little slower...still need repairs.

The plumbers we last called charged $80 per hour, plus travel time.
Sounds like a good profession to me! I know training, equipment,
and uncomfortable work situations all factor in. LOL>
