Wow - What are the chances that this transfer and transportation would have been approved if it wasnt Ms Goldman' s child?

Perhaps this will work in my favor, since I am going to request a transfer from W. Cary (also Ms. Goldman's daughter's base) to Davis Drive or Martin Middle for the dance program for my daughter. I don't know what the extenuating circumstances are, nor do I want to know (the child is a minor and has a right to her privacy), but I can't help being selfish about this

I agree with you Anne...there could very well be a legitimate (and privacy protected) reason for the girl's transfer that would have been honored regardless of whose child she is.

But to approve an additional 5 mile bus stop is not cool.

Considering the % of kids who get this type of transfer and Goldman's BOE voting pattern, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure this out.
