I find these droppings on my deck. This is the third dropping. But it is about inch long and has a white part at end and rest is dark. It is some kind of feces from an animal. Does anyone know of this by chance? It actually is shaped like mice poop but bigger and white tip and rest dark black/brown. I tried looking it up. Snakes is one that I found that might be it but not sure. Anyone have this on there deck or anywhere?

I guess goose poop is usually longer than and inch (I'm not poop expert ), but it sounds like goose poop to me, although there are much less geese here right now then other times of the year.

It could be duck then because neighbors have ducks that come over and are people friendly. I will have to look it up too. Thanks all

Whatever is leaving these things behind shows up at night to do their business. They must be somewhat social too seeing as they come right up to our doors where our variety of dogs crosses numerous times a day. The poo is always in an obvious spot or smack dab in the middle of your path!
