Hey ladies, I was hoping you might have a recommendation for an OB/GYN or a midwife. My husband and I are planning on trying to have a baby in the next few months, so I need to find a doctor. I am in North Raleigh near Falls of Neuse and Durant, so something in the area would be fabulous and would prefer a female doctor. Any recommendations?

Default Ob/gyn

Dr. Paula Gizzie of Associates in Women's Healthcare. It's in North Raleigh near the intersection of Falls of Neuse and New Hope Church. Granted, I don't have any children yet, but she will be our doctor. Also, I see a large number of pregnant women there every time I go in. I think she's a great doctor who listens and makes you feel like you are the most important thing on her mind at that moment.

Blue Ridge OBGYN is right behind Kohl's at Falls of Neuse and Durant. I go there and am happy with them.

oh, this is great info! Do they have a midwives group out there? I have so enjoyed having my midwife with my last 3. It was so much better than with my OB/GYN's, even though I liked my OBs very much.

Default Need OB/GYN??

I am hoping to find an excellent OB/Gyn? Have no preference regarding a male or female doctor. I live in Apex so I would like to find something close but will travel anywhere in Wake Co. for a good doc. However, I am uninsured so I want the best treatment for my out-of-pocket dollar without breaking the bank. Thanks

I go to Triangle OB/GYN. I've only had a handful of appointments, but have been happy so far. It came highly reccomended from another message board. They deliver at Wake Med Cary & are located on Asheville Dr. close to the hospital off of Tryon.

are you sure you'll be able to find one who takes out-of pocket? I couldn't when I was uninsured
