After reading the other thread about tickets being sold out, went into panic mode and bought tickets for HP in Southpoint on Friday.Any reviews of the SOuthpoint IMAX among folks on here?
I went to the IMAX when it first opened but they had "technical difficulties" (actually a private screening) so I had to see a the movie in a "regular" theater. I did walk into the IMAX after my movie to see the inside. Looked nice. I was expecting the dome but I was wrong in my assumption that all IMAX's are the dome shaped movie theaters. Anyway, it's new, nice seats, and at a great mall. If you are disappointed with it I don't see what more you could be wanting. Well other than some real food at the theater like the do in some other theaters in different cities I've visited.
I like to go to the Wynnsong on MLK on Tuesday - $1 popcorn and soda! I do not like going to any moving opening weekend, let alone Harry Potter for at least two weeks. But, I will be seeing HP7 at the Wynnsong, on a Tuesday, with my $1 popcorn and drink.

That's been our favorite theater for years. It's a little older, but they've gone DLP and never have projection/focus issues. I can't say that about many theaters in the area.
