Cigna just dropped my dentist otherwise I would recommend her. Unfortunately it seems like most of the Cigna in-network dentists in this area suck according to Angie's List. I'd also be interested to hear people's recommendations.
I went to one through Cigna a couple weeks ago and will not be going back. I was referred to an endodontist through Cigna and really liked him but unfortunately he couldn't help me and now I have to go to an oral surgeon through Cigna. (and my appointment isn't until the end of September.) I need a regular dentist to go to after I get through this immediate problem.
I got a suggestion (and I really am not trying to be rude) tell us WHERE you are looking for a Cigna dentist. I was going to reccomend my dentist but I don't think you want to drive all the way to Cary to get your teeth cleaned do you?
I really like Dr Josiah Chen. He is professional and personable. He is a Cigna participating provider. His office is located in Morrisville (Davis Dr & Morrisville Pkwy).
My last dental office (15+ years as a regular patient) hired a new dentist. She checked my daughter and recommended unnecessary procedures. She said my daughter had three cavities. My daughter never had a cavity before. I became suspicious when she tried to get us in for a next day appointment and was rude when I declined it.
We took our daughter to Dr Chen and "guess what?" no cavities.
My daughter hates going to the dentist and she felt very comfortable with Dr Chen.
Dr Nicole LeCann is the dentist I see at this practice. I've been to the Raleigh location but she has an office in Apex as well. Her website says they take Cigna. Good luck!
