My husband is considering a position in Raleigh, not sure exactly which part of town yet, but wondering where the best areas are to live. We currently live north of Atlanta with 3 children and in a county with some of the best public schools in the state. Our top priority would be an area with the top public schools offered along with a family oriented neighborhood like atmosphere. My son also plays travel baseball at East Cobb so we would be looking for a competitive sports program as well. Any suggestions as to which areas would be the best to consider? Thanks in advance!
We would possibly like to rent initially while acclimating ourselves to the area... with that said, we would be looking for a 3-4 bedroom home at no more than $1800/month. Still trying to find out exactly where his office would be, he will be overseeing several counties (not sure if that is how areas are divided there) as an area manager.
