We are from LI as well, it really is no different than the hot summer days in August on LI. The difference is in the evening it does not cool down as it does up North, it stays hot. But considering the house, car, stores, work has central AC it really is not bad.

Default Thank You

I am from Dallas, TX. Last year we had 80 days over a hundred and even hit 115. How would you say the heat here compares to the heat and humidity in Wake Forest?

Humidity and touch are both relative terms and that is why our relatives skip the summer months to visit and only come in the spring and fall. But some like it hot. Like ones that seem to bake with their head in the oven to see if their food is baking or not. I prefer to put the oven light on and look through the glass, but that's just me!

Its Hot and Humid. No joke. But the invention of air conditioning neutralizes the Hot and Humid part during June/July/August!

Not all school are year round in Wake Forest. We still have traditional ones. Also, for the college years....Wake Forest University is not her anymore........I heard it the was the Hot and Humid summers that made them move.....but its just a lot of hot air IMHO!!
