Hi everyone
Could anyone recommend a good therapist for me? I am going through a separation going on three months now. Ten years married and two children having a very rough time with it. They can be christian or non religious, and if it is a volunteer that would be awesome, the separation has left me financially challenged as well. Thank you for this much needed help. I am grateful.
Chris

Chris - I'm sorry you are going through this. I know you have separately asked about DivorceCare programs, and I encourage you to find a support group like that to help you through it.

This is a young therapist in Chapel Hill who does marital and couples counseling - I'm sure she could also provide support in a divorce/separation situation. But, of course, she does charge a fee.

Thanks ch transplant yes I got some good feedback on the groups however the one that seem to suit me best meets on tues night and sometimes my schedule with the children won't allow me to do that. I was thinking I could schedule a therapist/counselor to suit my schedule. Thank you so much for your reply. Chris

Some of the divorcecare programs offer free child care at the churches.
It may be worth a search. Good luck on your journey.
