I like the pastries at Grand Asia and are sure the cakes are good too but just an FYI: Asian cakes are not the same as American cakes - they have a texture a little more like a sponge cake or angel food cake and are sweeter. They also often use a whipped cream frosting and put fruit in the middle. Personally, I love them but it might not be what OP is expecting...
