Default Does Anyone Know Where I Can Go to Vote???

I am new to Cary this year and I did register in time to vote in this election. Does anyone know a link or info on where the voting / polling locations are within Cary or how I can find out what district I am in? Any info would be great! Thanks! :-)

NRG, is it too late to register locally for the elections? I heard that if I proof that we live here, that we can vote the day of. Is that true?

You can register and vote at one of the one-stop absentee voting sites up to and including October 6, but you can't actually register and vote on October 9. If you want to register at on of the absentee sites there is info here on ID needed and a link to dates and times:

Thanks, J_Lurk. I actually ran some wildcard searches and found out relatively the same information for my area in Durham. I'll be registering on Monday. Btw, the link to the Durham information is as follows:

ONE STOP NO EXCUSE ABSENTEE VOTING

Now, I can vote for the initial City of Durham Municipal Primary in September, and during the regular elections thereafter.

Just wanted to get this back up top so people remember to get out and vote on October 9th. I voted earlier today at the One Stop Voting Location for Wake County Set-up in Downtown Raleigh. There is also a One Stop Voting Location in Cary that will be open tomorrow (Saturday) at the Herbert C. Young Community Center located at 101 Wilkinson Ave., Cary, NC 27513.

From the Wake County Website: (WakeGOV.com - 2007 One-Stop Voting Sites)

****
Any registered voter in Wake County may vote an absentee ballot in person (one-stop voting). No excuse is required to vote absentee in person. No excuse early absentee voting in person will begin in the Board of Elections office on September 20th at 8:30 a.m. and end on Saturday, October 6th at 1:00 p.m.

An additional one-stop voting site will be open in the Town of Cary at the Herbert Young Community Center on October 3rd, 4th and 5th from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 6th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Any registered voter may vote in person at either of the above locations.

****

Here is the link to the composite ballot with all the races and BONDS to vote for. (The specific races you can vote for will depend on which district you are registered to vote in)
