We are looking for a photo booth for our wedding to provide some fun for the guests as a favor, and we can't seem to find any that are priced within our budget or even offer a lower rate for say...2 hours. Please let us know if you are aware of any!
Good luck! When I was researching photobooths two years ago for our wedding everyone was in the $800-$1500 price range I can't imagine it has gotten any cheaper. If you're lucky a Groupon or something for a photobooth might pop up before your wedding. One came up on Living Social two weeks after our weekend I also saw a lot of tutorials online for building your own photobooth. It looked pretty easy but we didn't have a laptop at the time so it wasn't really a feasible option for us.

They just had a Groupon Deal on that a few weeks ago. Get on the email lists and maybe you'll find one again. It appears they also had a similar deal on AmazonLocal.
I checked out her website, and it is pretty nice. Does she have props guests can use? Also, her website price shows $600! Even with a discount, it still might be too high. You sure she can work with us?
I just sold my photo booth business here in Metro Detroit to my brother. It's like anything else. You get what you pay for!
The big question you want to ask, is what type of camera and printer the company is using. The cheap companies use inkjet or laser jet printers. The quality is sub par, and the photo strips are not made to last a lifetime. In fact I have seen some that turn green in a year or two. You want the company to use a sub dye printer, which is short for sublimation dye. They should also be using a a DSLR camera for the best quality prints. It wont affect your photo strips, but it will make the digital copies look much better.
Stay away from groupon. It attracts the cheap companies that usually use junk equipment. Please note I said "usually". Good luck.
I have used them twice for their photobooth for school functions...very reasonable.
