I am helping a young relative find a very safe townhouse/condo to purchase 1-2 bedroom fine,
probably not a studio.
Are there any buildings with doormen or gated community in the
Raleigh area? She really likes the area near Crabtree Valley
Mall near her work, but up to 15 minute drive would work.
She would prefer a location with a few other young professionals (20-30's)
in the community along with other ages.
Thanks for any ideas?

the RBC Plaza is extraordinarily secure. starts at $~ 260K

there's a condo building near North Hills mall (and thus back ways to crabtree are easy) that has secured exterior. low 200's

Atlantic Place has security (end of 6 Forks at Atlantic Ave) and a 1 BR is 90's or low 100's

400 N West has some one bedrooms currently available starting at $190 and 222 Glenwood also has a 1 bedroom starting at $190. Both are downtown condo buildings that were built in 2008.

Throwing it out there that a community having a gate doesn't really mean much security-wise. Some of my students live in a gated apartment complex near campus and have been broken into.
