Just moved here last month and haven't been paying much attention to my car. It's not starting today so I need to find a good shop. It looks like there's a dealer in Cary but Audi dealers rarely are any good for repairs. Any suggestions?
The Audi dealer in Cary actually does a really great job, and their customer service has always been fantastic. Another place I've been to that does a really good job is 1st Class Automotive over near the Triangle Town Center.
Leith Audi's biggest problem is capacity. If your Audi is still under the warranty where the factory pays for everything, why would you go anywhere else? That keeps them busy-really busy.
They did a good job for us on the Audi we no longer own.
I'd recommend Chris Dale at Import Auto Werks off Millbrook Rd. in Raleigh. He specializes in Audis and VWs. I've been taking my diesel VW there for the past few years. He's extremely honest and fair. Prices are much better than the dealer. I took my car in for a standard oil change at a VW dealer (won't say the name), and they told me I needed my oil pan replaced. I decided to have Chris look at it. He said it was cracked, but NOT leaking, and therefore, it was not necessary to fix it right away. When the time does come for the repair to be made, he will charge $150 less than the dealer. Honest, fair mechanics like that are hard to come by.
