Chapel HIll hoity toity? Educated yes but not hoity toity which i think means snobbish. At least I haven't seen it.

I don't typically think of anything as hoity toity, but if I was to guess what the other poster meant it would be "wealthy and educated".

Yeah, I don't think it's as wealthy as it gets made out to be. There are a lot of poor hippie types in CH and Carrboro who are in town for the vibe. Just go hang out at Weaver Street and I don't think you'll get a "wealthy" vibe. There certainly are parts of both towns where you need plenty of money to buy a house, but there are trailer parks in both towns, too.

Actually theres 2 trailer parks in Chapel Hill we looked at for temp housing, neither was that shabby either.
