I recommend taking a look at the Primrose School. Our toddler is at the Westlake location (Cary); however, the same owners also have a Holly Springs location. It's a wonderful school and our toddler is flourishing there. The children are exposed to a variety of activities and learning experiences and the staff is professional and most importantly show genuine affection for the children. They do a lot of fun events. Also, the facility is immaculately clean.
There is a Westlake open house later this month and also one for Holly Grove for private K (not sure if pre-K is included in this). Also, you can schedule a tour at any time.
My son went to The Holly Springs School For Early Education - we used them for "daycare" but they also have a 4 year old preschool program.
There's Little Dreamers which a lot of people are happy with (non religious)
We also used Imagine That in Apex before we needed daycare (they opened a Holly Springs location too now).
There are a few church options in Apex too.
we use holly srpings learning center. What was tough with many schools is they call you to get your kid early for being sick when the kid isnt sick. We havent had that problem
The New School is a great school. My friend teaches Spanish there!
