Look into Douthat State Park in Virginia (about four hour drive). They have cabins and lodges, I'm not sure if it will accomodate your size group, but I think it may if you plan far enough in advance to reserve what you need.

They are consistently rated (one of) the top state parks in the country, and there are great trails, a lake, and it is also situated in a beautiful area. It is in Menonite country, there are areas that are still farmed by hand, and look EXACTLY like they must have 200 years ago. I love it up there.

Both Hanging Rock State Park and Morrow Mountain State Park (NC) have rental cabins. They are $88/night with a weekly rental rate that might be cheaper. In summer, it's a minimum stay of a week and 2 nights minimum at other times. They sleep up to 6 (though that includes a pull out sofa) and they each have a full kitchen. We've stayed both places and they're fine. Both parks also have nice trails to walk of different lengths/difficulty. The reservation site online shows which cabins are free on each given day and lets you pick the one(s) you reserve, so it'd be easy to pull up the availability and see if they have as many cabins as you need on your dates of choice.

Base camp at Nantahala Outdoor Center is a great option during the off season. Cabin D would fit your whole group for less than $10/head.
