I've checked Grand Asia several times and only ever found whole duck, fresh and frozen.

I've no problem with frozen duck- but I'd really just like the breast or legs.
Are you sure they only have whole duck? Did you look in the right section of the store?

I went to Grand Asia today and found both duck breast and legs. I also found other duck parts.

You should go there again, maybe they were sold out when you went there.

How much is a reasonable price?

What was the price of duck breast and legs at Grand Asia? More importantly, where in the store did you find them??? When I was there about ten days ago, they told me (again) that they only carried whole duck.

I believe they sell duck legs for $6/lb and duck breast for $8/lb, or maybe the other way around. I don't really remember, I only took a quick look. I also saw some other duck parts, if you're interested. They are all the way back in the meat section. I think you should go there again and check the prices yourself to be sure.

Maybe they were sold out when you went there.

Did you ask the right person?

I remember going to Whole Foods one time looking to buy 3 things. Someone asked me if I needed help and then told me they didn't have one of the 3 things. Then later another person asked me if I needed help and told me they had all 3 things. I guess some employees know more than others....

P.S. Since I go there regularly and we live in the same area, if you're interested I can show you where they put all the duck stuff. Feel like helping a city-data member out.
If not, you can find the meat section located in the back of the store.

I see them at Grand Asia almost every time I go.

If you shop on the weekends they do run low on things. This store is a regional mecca for Chinese folks living a few hours away and it gets crazy.

I've checked with Southern Season, a couple of Fresh Markets, Whole Foods, and The Meat House with no success.

Can anyone confirm that Grand Asia still carries duck legs?

As of ~2 months ago (last time I was there) they had them. Haven't been since though.

Whenever I'm in Greensboro, I try to go by Super G Mart and stock up on things that I find hard to find in the Triangle like red chili threads for garnishing, Kaffir lime leaves, and duck breast (frozen).

Grand Asia has kaffir lime leaves in their freezer section all the time.

I've found them often but not always at Grand Asia. Fresh duck breast has become an uncommon product at Grand Asia. But I think the prices for all the fresh duck items at GA is high.

These days I buy Frozen duck breasts at Kroger. And multiple frozen whole ducks whenever they are on sale (occasionally as low as $2.49/lb) - at Lidl, Kroger and Aldi.
