Anyone who really thought that that was an actual house isn't really paying attention. While I applaud the city for doing the right thing, I certainly wasn't fooled by it.
Oh...and the story claims that it's 15 minutes outside of DT Raleigh....Yeah, maybe if you were riding a bike.
In 15 minutes from DT Raleigh and out Wade Ave, you would be nearing RDU.
.....obviously a story written by someone in Chapel Hill..

I just heard that report on the radio.

I wondered about that 15 minutes from downtown figure… geez.

Even if you're doing the speed limit (precious few are on Wade, which can be "interesting" at times) it's far closer than that.

Yeah... I can get to Peace Street over by Blue Flame Tattoo from my house (off Weston Parkway not too far from SAS) in 15 minutes.

I don't know. It doesn't sound like much of Stretch. I work by Peace College and with traffic it usually takes me 15 minutes to get out to the Whole Foods on Wade.

I never even noticed the house.

I've known about it for quite some time. It has recently been on the news (even nationally). I'll let others guess.

There was already a thread about this one a couple days ago.

It appears to be making the FB rounds after that NPR story.
