We use them for birthday cakes. Never had a unique design done, which is why I didn't suggest them originally. But, Their photo album has some cute ones, so they do offer them. Their cakes are wonderful.

I like Blue Moon Cakes but depending on what you want done- it may or may not look good. I just had them do a fishing theme cake for my DH. It looked like a 2nd grader made the decorations. Cake still tasted good though!

LOL. We usually have regular cakes done. We did do a cake with water theme one year (we had pirate candles) that turned out nice. I suspect it depends on the decorator.

That's what had me thinking of Edible Art at first.

We love Blue Moon, always have. Probably been getting our cakes from there for over 10 years (we also got our wedding cake there 15 years ago). I've never had an issue with their decorating, but usually just ask for a standard decorated cake. I hate fondant or over the top looking cakes, so I'm always happy with a nice butter cream.
I've had Goodybox cupcakes and we really enjoyed them, I haven't gotten a cake from there though.

Maybe I need to try Goody Box again... their cupcakes sure looked good. I was really disappointed.

Maybe it was an "off" day.

We have been doing Blue Moon since 2006. I do love that place. They also make very good cupcakes!
