I have homes in both places and know DT Raleigh very well given that my Raleigh home is downtown.
Regarding my age, what's your point? I actually don't just sit at home in front of the TV at night.

Yeah I don't understand why people need to make uneducated assumptions. Middle age folk generally know how to go out and have a GREAT night life without the sloppy drunkness getting into fights. We get out there eat, drink, dance without making fools of ourselves and arrive home safe well after midnight.

So I agree when you asked them what's the point being made about middle age.

Then why advocate so hard for the so called Glenwood South? It primarily appeals to college age people or people in their twenties. When young people from major metro areas post asking about Raleigh nightlife it's only fair to be realistic that it isn't what they're accustomed to.

As far as your choice of weekend activities, continue doing whatever makes you happy.
