" My favorite bands are Coldplay and One Republic" I love alternative Rock and think you would fit in Raleigh as there are such a diverse group and there are always great concerts at the local venues. Although you may have to travel to Charlotte for some of the bigger names. Coldplay was here though in 2009 at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre which is a great, relaxing venue for smaller concerts but now that they are bigger, may be at bigger venue next. I moved here from Lexington, KY and have been here for over 15 years and love it. Growing up in San Diego though, the humidity was a bit to get used to. I do not remember KY having so much humidity and we were close to Ohio. I love Raleigh because you have access to so much and even though it is a big city, I swear I can be on a different side of town and will run into someone I know. Big city, with small feel. Never lived in Texas so can only say why I love Raleigh.
