Los Comales in Durham closed in May due to unpaid taxes. I used to go there. The food was great. Are there any other Mexican restaurants in the Triangle serving lengua?

I remember seeing something about "beef head" on the menu when I ate there on Friday, so I assume these folks will have it.

Super Taquaria (just north a couple miles from where Los Camoles) has it.
Taquaria Rancho Grande in Cary at Chatham Square has it.
There is a place about two doors north of Los Camoles that is attached to a small Mexican Grocer, they have it.
The Taco Truck in Apex has it
all confirmed above.

Also, pretty sure the place on Wake Forest (near where it turns into Falls) and he place on 401 just south of the inner Belt) both have it, but it's been a long time for both places.

A few places in Chapel Hill definitely have it.

"Beef Head" is Cabeza. Lengua is the tongue. Yum to both.

Try going to Toledo Carniceria & Taqueria 2223 NC Highway 54

They have Lengua along with a lot of other "native" Mexican dishes. It's more of a grocery store, but it has several tables where you can sit and eat fresh prepared food.
