Whoaaaa....
Termite treatment is entirely separate endeavor from bug (pest) control.
Generally, pest control companies spray for insects every three months, hitting building and room perimeters, and return for free if the bugs return between regularly scheduled quarterly services.
Termite treatment is completely different and commonly involves some form of soil treatment to put up a barrier to termites working under the ground to find cellulose.
Some termite control is done with bait stations that poison termites that find the bait. Then the termites carry the poison back to the colony and it kills the queen. Colony is kaput at that point.
Another form of treatment is borate spray on 18"--24" of framing lumber to deter termites from entering the wood.
Of those three, I would prefer the chemical treatment of the soil, under slabs, in crawlspaces, etc. It should last 10 years or more.
I strongly recommend that you renew the warranty and repair bond provided by the builder and the original termite control applicator, and keep it in force.
