Is there anywhere to fish in Knightdale nc, with my 8 yr. old son, I wants to fish in Knightdale are very close to it.

Lake Myra out Poole Road used to be a great fishing spot, but I don't know if it's open to the public anymore.

Beaver dam at Falls Lake. Thirty minutes maximum, and better fishing than most areas around here. It's also quite pretty and usually quiet. No gas engines allowed (only electric or non motorized boats) and fishing from the shore is fine.

Remember you need fresh water fishing licenses - at least for adults. I've no idea what's required for kids.
