Actually, I am having a hard time getting post "Likes" to stick, and a couple of other foibles that make me think something is afoot.
It may be a good time to change our FB passwords.

I think Trump and Hillary connived to make this happen, so they can blame each other....

Those are the people I hide from my news feed. 😉

I think I've hidden them, too, or hidden the people who just spout religion or politics I don't agree with.

It's a great way to keep up with friends from college or folks who live in other parts of the country, though. I probably would have lost touch with a lot of people.

This is probably one of the best features of Facebook, the ability to filter out opinions that differ from our own, reinforcing our existing beliefs and removing the burden of ever questioning what we already think we know.

Hee - I agree about both (and have unfriended six people this summer both far left and far right).

My feed is starting to basically be animal pictures, people's kids, and food. it's better that way.

That's a bit unfair. The people I have unfollowed are the ones who continually post links to outrageous faux news stories that are pure conspiracy theories intended to support extreme point of views. I'm okay with people posting anti-Clinton or anti-Trump sentiments, but it has to be either presented as opinion or provide verifiable facts. There are also a very small number of the unfollowed who got there because of their incessant whining about the same tripe, every, single, day. Brag about your exciting or entertaining life, that's cool, just don't whine about how everything in your life doesn't make sense or meet your very unique and idiosyncratic needs.

Oh, and the Facebook outage is not presenting itself in North Raleigh.

Absolutely, NYC2RDU. I don't mind folks who post legit stuff or their own opinions based on something legit — I've got folks from the other political party unhidden, but I don't like people on either side who post conspiracy theories — chemtrails or the government killed Prince or the Clintons have murdered hundreds or Trump wants to date his daughter (oops that last one might be true).

Rather than the wide variety of goofiness on FB, I am more interested in the service issues.
Wonder if it is ISP related, etc...
