Allen and Son was my first thought, Stephenson's was my second. Its very much underrated and seemingly unappreciated.
Picnic in Durham is open for brunch and is delicious!
I've been to Picnic with some students visiting from the UK. We all thought it was good. I've also been to Pick N Pull with my husband and a neighbor. It was good also, and you do have great atmosphere with the airport being next door.
the NC barbecue revival is at Picnic today through Sunday.
