If our here for several days house hunting and want to take a day trip away from all that the Battleship NC is a great place to go and take the kids. I have been several times and enjoyed myself each time.

That is a great idea Debbie. Really everyone. It is only about 2 1/2 hours away if you have the time. You can see the battleship and explore Downtown Wilmington. You can also eat at Deluxe which is one of my favorite restuarants Downtown. You can also make a stop at Wrightsville Beach and the Aquarium while you are there. Now that the weather is getting warmer, these are great things to do and also a way to see more of NC.
