I love the Elena Ruz sandwich story! I had never heard of it before. We go to Versailles every year, but I always order the same thing off the menu, so I hadn't even noticed the Elena Ruz sandwich, but I just looked at their menu online, and I see it.

I saw the "coming soon" sign for Cuban Revolution on Franklin Street a few months back and have been meaning to go there. Maybe my husband will try the Cuban sandwich with salami!
We went to Havana this summer so we've been immersing ourselves in all things Cuba for the past few months, first in preparation for our trip and then after because we found the history so fascinating!
