I looked up the forecast (knightdale, nc). Out of the next 14 days, 12 of them it is suppose to rain.

Seems to have rained a lot lately.

In the summer you'll be wondering if it will ever rain again?

Huh?

July and August are the two wettest months on average in most of NC. You can set your watch by daily NC afternoon thunderstorms in the summer time.

Long term forecasts A. aren't accurate, and B. Will show rain if there's any minute chance of precipitation whatsoever.

That being said, the entire east coast is under an active pattern. Seen what's going on in the northeast?

Yeah right this has been a wet winter so far. It rains a lot then the next couple of days the ground soaks it up and it will rain again.

I'm glad for the rain's help with the low lake levels. Don't love these gray days that go on and on, but in the fall our lake levels were really low. OWASA said we were down in the 60% range if I remember right. Now we're back up at 88%. I'll take that.

It's important that Falls Lake be at the target this time of year. Otherwise there's a risk of water supply problems in the summer. It was several feet down in mid-January but recent rains have brought it back to the target.

I'd rather be wet than be Capetown...

The retention ponds for some farms nearby me are still very low.
