I believe Waraji is Korean owned. I haven't heard great things lately. I think their service has declined.

Waraji is Japanese owned. I think Waraji, Tsune, and Yamazushi may be the only Japanese-owned restaurants around.

Can't speak to their food or service recently.

I'm glad the OP liked it, because when my DH and I went a few months ago, it wasn't great. We get better sushi from our local Thai restaurant, Champa in Brier Creek.

For another option, downtown Raleigh, is City Market Sushi. It's replaced Mura for us. I also heard/read that Mura, really Eschelon, has filed for bankruptcy? I'm not certain of the details on this though.

Never heard of O-ku before, will have to give that a shot soon!
