We are moving into a new home soon and need to put up a fence ASAP. Our HOA requires a white vinyl fence (unfortunately...) How much do these run? Any experience with companies that do this? Our yard is about a 1/4 acre and we need 300-350 linear feet of fencing.
To have it installed by a professional fence company I suspect you are looking at about $15 - $20 per linear foot depending on the style, height, etc. All fence companies should install them. We did about 115' of 6' privacy PVC (front sides next to house facing street) and about 700 ft of Black Vinyl Chain link for rest, with 4 gates (2 - 5 ft PVC's) on our 1.375 acre property in Clayton and it cost us about $12k. It sounds like you will be in the 6k neighborhood. We used Allstar fence company here in Clayton and were pretty happy with the whole process.
I'm curious - how does vinyl fence hold up in the summer heat down here? I know it can tend to soften in high heat which could cause it to bow/sag/etc.
I would be curious to know that as well. I have seen several in other neighborhoods but I do not know how long they have been up. We had one quote for $9,000. I guess I just wasn't expecting it to be that much. I have several other quotes lined up. I didn't know if I was wasting my/their time. I do have to get one no matter what though... Just hoping to find a decent price!
It depends on the quality of the vinyl fence. I have found that you get what you pay for.....
