I didn't even realize it was a 4 day weekend till today. Halloween has been a workday for years and it's super annoying. They do it so they don't have to listen to the "Halloween is the devil's holiday" crowd. Obviously anyone more on the ball than me who booked a trip is not gonna cancel.
I'm completely unprepared for this event, by the way. I feel this has ensured that we will be dealing with "something" over the next 36 hours. Oh well.

If school is cancelled on Friday too, will they have makeup days on October 31 AND November 1 or will they use a different teacher workday?
