Looking for any info anyone has of clinics/pharmacies/anywhere that has Covid-19 vaccine spots in the next 3 weeks, anywhere in the Triangle, or Triangle-adjacent. Every place I've investigated seems to have a waitlist longer than a month!
Check with the health departments in smaller counties. The mass vaccine site in Greensboro might have availability, if you consider Greensboro Triangle-adjacent.
I found a slot in an early morning checking of pharmacies. My sister-in-law just kept checking and checking and one popped up that way.

Keep checking CVS websites. My neighbor snagged a spot at a Durham CVS but she was online at 5 a.m. looking.
I went to the Greensboro site. Where are you located?
Wife *just* scheduled with Walgreens in Wake Forest, two appointments (for both of us), on 3/31. It was around 5:30 as I was on a flight coming up to NY as she was texting me
Edit: vaccine spotter shows some open appointments around us right now:
Tons available in the rural areas which sucks because folks will keep driving there and they'll keep sending shots there because they think locals are using them up...meanwhile the populated centers will lack availability.
CVS.com
there's a little bit of a trick to it.
First of all they refresh their appointments right after midnight. But if you can't find anywhere in the Triangle, pick another state. Answer the pre screen questions. Then when they say "schedule an appointment" pick NC and you will most likely get the opportunity to make an appointment.
You just have to be persistent. You can get an appointment but you have to be looking when they open up. Walgreen's is good to check around 7 a.m. There's no magic formula, it is like a little hobby or side job to keep checking the sites.
Also, follow this local pharmacy on facebook. They post vaccine avalability almost daily and have done several walk-in events recently. I've had several friends get their shot there just this past week.
I went to Harnett Health's clinic in Dunn today and it was very well run/efficient. It was a walk-in only event, parked at 10:23 and had a shot in my arm at 10:36. 15 minute observational period and I was back in my car by 10:55.
(if you're going to the Dunn Community Center, avoid Jackson Road and go around and parK at the sports park on Elm Road and walk over to avoid the traffic queue to get into the main parking area)

Check the CVS site around 12:00PM. There were a bunch available this afternoon, though the appointments went fast so book as soon as you see one. Be willing to travel some to get an appointment and you should be able to get one after trying for a few days.
