I have had no problem getting paper towels at Target. We use Bounty and that's been there the last two times we needed some.

I have tried to buy toilet paper at our local Harris Teeter (Kings Grant) for 5 weeks now with no luck. I go to the store twice a week and even ask store employees when they are expecting a shipment. About 2 weeks ago I found a single 4-pak at the Stonebridge Village Harris Teeter and bought it. Now we are down to 3 rolls for a family of 4, so I went on a quest at 6:30pm tonight. I tried 2 Harris Teeters, 2 Food Lions, and 1 Publix. Nothing. I came home and informed my family that we are now using paper towels, and since we have a septic system, they get thrown in the trash can. We do not have memberships to Costco or BJs or Sams and I do not intend to buy one just to get toilet paper.

If you get there in the morning, you might want to try Walgreens, Wegmans (their own brand is quite good).

Harris Teeter can't seem to stock TP regularly so give up on them. I found there were 2 packages at Publix when I went. I went to Lowe's grocery and there was nothing there. Honestly, your best bet is to look on Amazon and/or other online vendors. I did and was able to order a case of 24 mega rolls (Cottonelle), which I got in 2 days.

I can spare a few rolls if you want to drive to Cary to get them.

I also think the key is getting there early in the AM. I ventured out in the rain this morning and found paper products at Publix, WalMart, HT and Aldi. But there wasn't much so it would have been gone within the hour. Also, I refuse to spend $6 for a 4 pack of toilet paper.

We got Angel Soft from both Amazon and Walmart online.

For walmart just keep checking this link and snag it when it's in stock, stock changes frequently:

I'd try Walmart. The bigger places seem to get more paper stock than the grocery stores.

Try weekend mornings around 9 a.m. Twice I've seen toilet paper in Harris Teeters (Durham and Chapel Hill). A very small stock of it so it would have been gone quickly.
