Good luck everyone, stay safe.

I thought this quote was interesting:

Faisal Khan, one of the organizer's of Raleigh's protest, spoke to WRAL. He said he wants reform in police departments across the country, including the Raleigh Police. He also said these departments need to be more proactive in their community outreach and wants reform in how police deal with minority groups.

I think Raleigh is doing pretty well thank you very much. Does this mean no minority arrests? Minorities get one free attack on an RPD officer before they are allowed respond? No filing of charges against minority residents? What is the goal here?

Some of the protestors are calling for the abolition of any and all law enforcement. Is that what is being referred to here?

A statement from the protesters also said that the police in North Carolina have "never carried out their duty to keep everyone safe" and that law enforcement "bring more violence and fear to our communities by arresting, beating and ultimately murdering us."

I'm fully aware of NC's long and sordid past regarding race relations. That doesn't mean you get a free pass to destroy Charlotte and Raleigh. We already know Antifa and their subgroups are here and we know what they have been doing in other cities. Be safe and plan accordingly.

  • Anyone hear anything via the police radio scanner apps?
  • Anyone going to call it domestic terrorism?
  • Follow it all nation-wide, here: https://www.citizenfreepress.com/
  • Follow it all state-wide, here: https://carolinaplotthound.com/
  • The Market House in Fayetteville is burning from the riot unfolding. This is a very emotional and important moment in North Carolina’s history

You mean the assault, arson and attempted murder?

8:00 p.m.: Protesters are clashing with police in Raleigh. People are reportedly throwing things at officers and shouting. The crowd reportedly keeps advancing, and the police are moving back.
The crowd size seems to be several hundred people, and seem to be growing in aggression.

I'm afraid that’s what it’s turned into. Now Raleigh? That too bad.

Throwing rocks and bottles at police kinda detracts from that "peaceful protest" vibe. You have to understand the goal. This is the 1960's-1970's playbook only the police back then were more aggressive in defending. They can't do that now because they're afraid of being sued, branded racists, having antifa drag them through the streets, torch police and politician homes, etc. which is why the cities are burning.

The goal is destabilization and destruction so they have free reign to do whatever they want against whomever their particular enemy is that day.

And a note for you on this site that think you are safe from the mob because you are "woke" and chant the same tired phrases: you aren't. The mob cannot be reasoned with. Their only purpose is destruction.

This has evolved into a coordinated insurrection now. Do whatever you can to stay safe and protect your families.

Hmm, yeah, like have our politicians stop the police from continuing to kill unarmed black men? Yeah, that'd be a start.

The police were being antagonistic. STOP spreading misinformation.

I’m honestly not surprised. How many times has this happened now? And that’s just the cases that get publicized.......not to mention the black community has been hit hardest health wise and economically from COVID-19. At some point if you were in their shoes, you just wonder if people even want you to live.......

You can be against police brutality AND not want to see wanton destruction and murder in the city where you live. Believe in facts not narratives.

Antagonistic? You mean like showing up to prevent the looting and burning of downtown Raleigh? Are you saying it is OK to throw rocks, bottles and IEDs at police? To try and set them on fire? To drag them to the ground and try to kill them? So far in Raleigh it has only been rocks and bottles but it can go out of control quickly.

The current mindset of the mob is that the police do not have a right to exist at all and should stand aside or be killed while they burn down the cities. That is not acceptable to me.
