In response to the above questions on test accuracies:

‘Something extremely bogus is going on’: Musk says he’s positive & negative for Covid-19 after taking 4 tests in 1 day

Of note, 85%, yes EIGHTY FIVE PERCENT, of those dying of Covid in Wake are >64 years old.

Quote:
Previously, he denounced lockdown policies adopted in countries around the world, arguing that only at-risk people should quarantine “until the storm passes.”

I'd recommend against using RT as a source.

Sorry, not familiar. How about the Washington Post? This is cached to avoid the paywall.

Some context:

Elon’s pcr test was thought* positive - and he in fact is symptomatic (lightly) - and therefore a highly likely spreader. The rapid test is known to have significantly lower accuracy, but any single positive result when multiple tests are taken should have been enough for this to be known.

That RT news (overt Russian propaganda https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_America) did not pick this up - and uses Twitter as a source - not surprising( all United States intelligence agency’s agree russia is in full propaganda war mode). I am surprised any serious us journal would have missed it.

Wheels up - maybe you are a deep Russian plant I know everybody everywhere is stressed - but seriously I am joking.

Fox News - highly conservative - does pretty well here:
https://www.foxbusiness.com/technolo...-covid-19-test
* Fox News is really pretty good/fair. Easy to confuse with their “commentators” - also liberal commentators on msnbc - which are all real nut jobs.

Fox regionals - seem to be inline with the commentators - not Fox News - and doing horrible:
https://www.foxla.com/news/spacex-ce...e-for-covid-19

CNBC - highly liberal - does a reasonable job of journalism here:
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/13/musk...pcr-tests.html

International source:
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-54948005

So why is Elon thought* positive? Because he has not yet released them. And here is a shot from a publication I have never heard of - but is up to date as this writing:
https://www.livemint.com/news/world/...401365495.html

For fun - I learned some about mint - turns out there is ‘light’ connection to the us Wall Street journal(highly conservative, highly praised).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mint_(newspaper)

That they are India gst based explains why content is 8+ hours ahead of the western news cycles

Another weird thing about the DHHS data is that hospitalizations almost always seem to decrease on the weekend, even though percent reporting remains similar. Why are there less covid patients in the hospital on weekends?

Elon Musk seems a bit out there these days, so not sure I put much stock in anything he says in regards to covid.

Half the states, including NC, are experiencing record numbers of hospitalizations. We are being overwhelmed by this virus, and its about to get much, much worse. All you deniers and nitpickers wanting to debate and question every irrelevant and unimportant bit of minutia need to stop. Its real, and its bad. And its getting worse.

How dare people want to understand the data. That must mean they're deniers.

Don't talk to me about a desire to understand the data. Thats pure BS. The data is clear to anyone with an open mind. Questioning it is pointless at best, and a way of minimizing its significance at worst. Not to mention, few people lack the specialized knowledge to appropriately analyze and understand the data. Its an absurd exercise.
