My wife's hairstylist in Crossroads Plaza up and moved back to Minnesota, dontcha know.

She's looking for a new stylist in the same general area (we live about 10 min SE of Crossroads Plaza), but would consider other nearby areas as well.

She always gets a cut and color to cover up the gray, and pays $130-ish + tip.

My former co-workers went to Shear Elegance (in the Food Lion shopping center, near Colonial Baptist Church).

I've also heard people recommend stylists in the Salon co-op in Waverly Place. But, I don't recall the stylists' names. It run like many different stylists "rent" space, keep different hours, etc.
