There's a guy in Wrightsville Beach that does really cool painted rain barrels. I've seen him at craft festivals before. Wish I had his card for you!

I sympathize with you about the impervious surface regs. I had to deal with it a couple of years ago when we had a standby generator installed on a 3'x5' pad.

Brings up the question: what happens when the 137.1 gallon container is full? After that, it overflows and you're back to square one. Or do you just dump it, negating the effects of storage? Stupid regs.
