33 Male Single White, I want to move to Raleigh, I feel like I will have a better chance in finding me a good wife!
You will definitely like this area. And plenty of singles here. But.....
Again, there are plenty of single people here, but overall you'll find this is a very family-oriented area. When you go out downtown, you'll find many couples (who are already married or in a serious relationship) that are partying. All I see are people who are going on "date-nights."
What's wrong with moving to places like Washington DC, Atlanta or other single-friendly areas?
My parents met in the Air Force. They are gone now and lived up North.
You asked about bad areas? That's a tricky topic. Some people think parts of Durham are bad or Southeast Raleigh. But personally, I've never had a problem in the many times I've been to Durham.
You might talk to the guy who posted this thread: "Air Force Veteran looking for Single Friends!"
Oh wait, that was you! Well I see you're already getting some replies. I find Meetup.com helpful but I haven't used it for a while now.
LOL, I do listen to WPTF, but it's hardly a "neutral" station. Actually the more I listen to it, it's pretty biased. The current morning guy and gal is decent though.
